So many here complain about gun shows and how there isn’t anything worth buying. I love it when these people don’t go, so more for the rest of us.

I found these 2 very affordable pistols at the Bozeman Gun Show today and will be shooting them both soon. The Smith and Wesson Model 41 is in excellent condition and the Colt Gold Cup in perfect condition for shooting and enough wear to holster and carry without worrying about abuse to a new pistol…

It ain’t a gun show unless you come back with :

some jerky and/or popcorn
Some knitting supplies
Cheap Chinese optics of some sort
Probably a Chinese knife or machete

Those pistols are good ones, but you likely missed out on the good stuff 😆

Shrapnel, have you thought about writing about your gun show finds and the historical guns you shoot? I first became aware of you through the work of a great writer. Bet you would find a large audience.

It's nice.

I’m still Looking for a Remington 750 or 7400 in 35 Whelen

They say they made a lot of them but I’m still Looking

I’m just wondering if those that had them were buried with them when they died

I go to often but find deals now and then. Retired gives me time for other things so I hit the shows. Sometimes nothing better to do and gets me out of the house.

A couple of nice finds…used but not abused and as you said, perfect for everyday use. I don’t have a Gold Cup yet but my Smith 41 us simply awesome.

Like Shrapnel said .
You gotta go to find the deals.
Whether at a table or on the floor.

I might be posting up a AR trigger deal on here tommorow (for Tennessee or Kentucky guys within a reasonable driving distance) per running into a guy I know that was walking around on the floor at the Clarksville show yesterday.
Course of convo type of thing.

Would have never known if I didn't go....

If anything else the sheer humanity and social butterfly entertainment value is worth the admission price.
