Left hand long action stainless Remington 700 action with magnum bolt face. Fully accurized by Longrifles Inc. Threads recut, action face trued and drilled for dual recoil lug pins, bolt face trued and cut for dual ejectors. Bolt lugs trued, M16 style extractor. Scope base holes cut to 8-40 screw size, bolt fluted. Trigger pins, ejectors plus reduced power ejector springs and ejector pins included. $725 shipped. $20 extra if I have to send it through an FFL. Is the bolt handle blued steel or stainless w/black coating?

Is the bolt handle blued steel or stainless w/black coating? I believe all Remington 700 bolts are chromoly steel regardless of color.

Is the bolt handle blued steel or stainless w/black coating? I believe all Remington 700 bolts are chromoly steel regardless of color. I don’t believe that to be the case. I believe the lugs on all of them are cm, but I believe the stainless bolts and handles are both stainless. Dan would know for certain (dans40x).

I'm not sure about the material of the bolt handle, it is possible that the bolt handle is not stainless. I purchased the action directly from Longrifles Inc. I I hadn't thought about it. I just figured it was parkerized.
I might consider a trade on a good quality rifle scope.
