Looking at the S&W Performance Center 2.0 10mm pistol. Any input from any owners? The Glock is out as they don't feel right in my hand. Tried the G 20 and G 20c. TIA.

HR Funk has done some work with the 10mm 2.0, maybe his video will help. This is the range test, but the shop video is pretty informative, too. Not the PC model, but still interesting.

You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
I bought a 4" M&P 2.0 10mm when they first came out, think that was about 4 years ago. Picked up a 4.6" after than and a 9mm 4" soon after. I don't have the PC model (yet). Not opposed to it, but I don't want/need the compensator. I had issues with the 4" right out of the box. Sent it back to SW and it came back almost problem free. My thinking was/is the slide is designed too light for true 10mm rounds. Added a red-dot (about 2oz.) and it's been problem free since, like 100% reliable. Crazy, but true. The 4.6" was good to go out of the box, it has a heavier slide...and I think it's also due to SW recognizing and correcting some feeding issues with the early released models.
Not sure what HR dude above in the video's is talking about in terms of recoil in the 4", sure, it's a 10mm and full power has some recoil, but painful and hard to shoot, um, no. You won't rip off a plate rack in the low 2 seconds, but that's not what the gun is for. (For full power, 200 grain Underwood is what I use.) My groups at 9 yards standing off hand are 1.5" max with almost all brands of ammo. I bet it would do <1" off a sandbag at the same distance. At 25 yards, I can hold 4" groups off hand. HR dude can't shoot.
As for the 4.6" model. It's smooth and recoil is noticably less than the 4", but splitting hairs in terms of how much. Accuracy is the same - excellent, reliability - excellent. I have every model of Glock's 10mms and the 4.6" M&P 10mm is my goto woods gun. Glock is good, the M&P is better, much better, but requires an upgrade - an Apex trigger. I will agree with HR dude in that the stock M&P trigger is ho-hum unfantastic. Takeup is an honest 0.4". Break is decent, but far from great. Weight is about 5lbs. The Apex reduces the travel to 0.25" ish and weight to about 3.5lbs. It's an honest game changer for the gun. The 4.6" with Apex trigger is a game changer for 10mm's. It's seriously one of the best, if not the best in the striker fired world IMO.
As to the OP's question. My understanding is the PC version has the same trigger as the regular M&P's, might be tuned a little better, but it will likely benefit from the Apex. Do you heed a comp? Well that's up to you, I'm sure it will tame recoil and muzzle flip, likely measurably so, but at the trade off of being extra loud and bulkier - not something I want in a woods carry gun. My biggest grip with SW 10mm's, they don't offer a threaded barrel version, in fact, not a single aftermarket does either.
The S&W Performance Center 2.0 10mm followed me home. S&W added a free VIRIDIAN RFX15 Green Dot Reflex Sight to make the deal better. I prefer the longer 5.6" barrel, comp, etc. on this pistol. YMMV. Now for the weather to cooperate.
Thanks again to all that replied to my initial question.

I finally got out to try the S&W PC 10mm today. Fired 60 rounds before the rain started.
First off, it's much easier to load the magazines to full capacity with a mag loader. Started with a magazine of some Blazer ammo and then moved on to some 10mm ammo. Zero FTF/FTE. The recoil is damped by the porting and is quite manageable, even with the full power 10mm loads. I didn't get time to try the 200 gr and 230 gr hardcast loads. The grip is a bit abrasive but it's easy to get a firm grip on the pistol.
The Performance Center trigger is much better than the other non PC striker fired pistols that I've used. Gun shoots to point of aim and the night sights are a nice addition. The thumb safety is easy to operate and is not a hinderance.

Not the performance model. I like it better than the Glock 20 even after changing the connector and adding fiber optic front and sanding down the finder groves. Better trigger, size and grip. More accurate. Will not eject 40 S&W as reliably as Glock but that's not a legitimate complaint or cost savings. Hot Magtech 180 is very reliable if a bit much for practice. Sights are ok but a fiber optic would be nice.

I'm definitely interested in your impressions using the hardcast ammo once you have a chance to shoot it. Also what brand ammo it is & a velocity if your running it over a chronograph.
If I get one of these that's the type of ammo I'll be packing. My current gen 2 Glock 20 gripframe is just too big for comfortable shooting with high performance ammunition.
I tried a magazine of each of these 10mm loads today. Zero FTF/FTE. Pistol was flawless.
The ammo used was as follows:
Double Tap 200 gr WFNGC rated 1300 fps from a 5" barrel Double Tap 230 gr hard cast rated 1120 fps from Glock 20 Underwood 140 gr Extreme Penetrator rated 1500 fps
All velocity specs were taken directly from the respective ammo boxes.
Recoil was not bad at all considering the power levels. The porting works. The trigger is getting better.

Was all set to buy one of these, then while checking reviews noticed this pistol was having unintentional magazine drops while shooting hardcast 200 or 220 grain WFN-GC factory ammo.
As that's going to be my primary carry ammo I am somewhat stalled on my purchase.
Anyone experiencing this personally please chime in.
I saw the same reviews before I bought the PC 10mm too. That was the reason for my original post asking for any information on the pistol. However, I experienced zero magazine drops or problems with any ammo that I've fired to this point. All ammo was full power 10mm except for the one magazine of the Blazer ammo.

Good to know. You ran the 200 and then the 230 grain Double Tap, did you get chronograph readings? I'm going to be using factory 180 grain FMJ for practice then carry my reloads with a 200 hardcast.
To give you an Idea of my reloads power levels think Buffalo Bore 200 WFN-GC @ 1150-1200 fps out of a Glock 20. Except I'm rolling my own.
My practice ammo is factory Sig Sauer 180 FMJ that stuff runs an honest 1250 fps
Sorry, no chronograph readings, just listed data from the boxes. The ammo that I fired out of my PC 10mm is full power 10mm ammo. I can't see any problems with your listed handloads, since the pistol handled these loads with no problems. Also fired some Federal Premium 180 gr Trophy Bonded JSP, Double Tap 135 Controlled Expansion JHP and Hornady 180 gr and 200 gr XTP HP loads. Again, zero problems.

Double Tap 230 gr hard cast rated 1120 fps from Glock 20
