I purchased this rifle over a year ago and have struggled shooting it. It is .25 caliber. I thought it might be the scope.

I bought a BSA 3-9 and put that on it. Prior to this I couldn’t get it to group, and shot up over half a tin.

I took a new batch of pellets and after zeroing in the new scope, I was amazed to find at twenty yards I had one ragged hole.

I bought this to take care of pests at my lake cabin. I want to shoot about fourty yards but didn’t have any more time to try at a longer distance. But it does pack quite a punch.

Thinking about a electric air pump, as it is quite an ordeal to pump up the pressure on this gun.

I have a Maruader .177 and an FX Impact in .25. 25 caliber is freaking awesome!!! I think you’ll find that 40 yards is easy for the 25 and out to 100 yards pests are in grave danger. FX pellets are made by JSB and shoot the same. Quality control may be a tad better with the JSB but my targets don’t know the difference.

I bought a GX CS3 when I got the Impact but it works great on the Marauder too. If I remember correctly, about 6 minutes to fill after I’ve shot it down to my “refill” pressure.

I have killed lots of animals with my .25 Marauder.

Used a scuba tank to air it up mostly.

If you have trouble with accuracy, try different pellets... they will shoot some well, and some awesome, and a few pellets don't shoot well at all.

It's a 50 yard rifle for the stuff I shoot. Maybe further, depending on the game. But if you put it in their ear, they fall right there.

Couple taken hunting with my .25 Marauder..

SCUBA or SCBA for filling your Marauder?

You might want to look at getting a compressor.

SCUBA tanks and such need recertification every once in a while and you’ll generally have to pay every time you take them to get filled…. GX pumps are pretty good…

Some fire departments/fire stations will fill your scuba tanks for free if they are for paintball or airguns. Probably depends on which state you live in.

Been using an AirVenturi Rovair for several years of trouble free service. Does not require much if any maintenance.

In regards to dialing in accuracy, try lots of different pellets to find the sweet spot vs PSI. I have a .22 Marauder with the Lothar Walther barrel. It puts JSB Match Diabolo 14.35gr pills into a dime sized group at 40 yards all day long. But every barrel is different.

I stopped shooting suppressed .22LR in favor of PCP for varmint shooting. Too easy...

To hell with scuba tanks and manual pumps - just go ahead and get one of these and be done with it. Heck, a couple of scuba tanks and appropriate fittings would likely cost the same or more.

PCP Air rifle pump

It kinda has one already built in, as it has about 7 baffles inside the end of the barrel. You ddefinitely don't need anything else.
