My buddy bought the Taurus 92 made in Brazil, shortly after Taurus bought the factory from Beretta. I think it was an AF. It was stainless. We shot the [bleep] out of that gun. Thousands and thousands of rounds. Zero care or maintenance. The pistol was a tank.

The only time I ever saw it falter was when we let my 12 year old daughter shoot it. She did not have enough strength in her hands to support the gun and it failed to feed properly with every shot. That is not any fault of the weapon.
Yeah, the Taurus 92 is an excellent handgun.

Have several S/W M/P 9's, Springfield S/A 35, Walther PDP and just picked up a metal frame M/P it's my favorite now. Had a bit of trouble getting the SA 35 ejecting reliably Apex tactical extractor fixed that problem. Had Glocks, got rid of them.

Back in the heyday of the wonder nines, a local range had both Beretta and Taurus 92's for rent and they both got many, many rentals. I once asked one of the guys behind the counter if there was much difference between the two. His reply was that when they sent one in for repair the Taurus came back with no charge, the Beretta came back with a bill.

I like my Wilson 92G centurion tactical, and just recently bought a CZ shadow2 compact. They both shoot good and have nice triggers. Not sure which one will be my favorite.

Two of my three 92s are G. The one that isn't is the M9, which I wanted to keep in military issue configuration.

The closest thing I have is a S&W M&P 2.0 Metal with a Vortex red dot on it.

Pretty dang reliable, fits well, nice and grippy.

No doubt, all metal is not the preferred for carry, but for shooting or a house/car gun, I see no downside.

Enjoy all the posts everyone. Thanks, and Happy Palm Sunday.

Only 1 I own is a CZ 75 SP01. I don’t have a lot of trigger time behind any others, so I can’t give you a short list or compare/contrast. But I’ve been very happy with the CZ - zero issues. And I’ve put no aftermarket parts or work into it.

Nice. I remember my first encounter with a classic, Belgian, Plain Jane, Browning Hi Power.

I was in graduate school, and a friend and I were going to an indoor range to shoot, as we'd done many times. This time, however, a friend of his (his former college roommate) was in town for a visit, and he was invited along.

He brought two cool guns to shoot. One was an old Beretta .22 pocket pistol and the other was an old, Plain Jane, Belgian, Browning Hi Power.

I was really impressed with its looks, feel, and shootability, so it wasn't more than a few days later that I bought one.
