I recently bought a Terminus Zeus mostly for the QC barrel switch option, two set screws, no vise needed, just loosen the screws and remove by hand (maybe a strap wrench if it gets a little tight). Current set up is in 6mm CM but pondering future barrel options. One choice could be 6.5 PRC with a new bolt and magazine or the other direction, .223 with new bolt and magazine. I already own rifles chambered in 270 W, 7mm RM, 30-06, 308, 6.5 CM and 7 PRC. What would you do specific to barrels and chamberings this rig?

I'd probably go WSM but only because I already have one. Maybe a .308 Win or .22 Creedmoor if I didn't want to buy a new bolt head right away.

I like the 22 CM but ammo is pricey and I'm wondering what it will do what my 6 CM won't?

I like the short mags but have a 7 PRC if I need to up the horse power. Have a 308 in a similar rig now but would be nice to have if I were traveling to hunt.

If you are serious, the Vudoo will QUICKLY teach you more, than all the others combined and then some. Hint.

Well, I have a 6.5 CM on another rig, had a 350 RM, don't really care for the 35s although a 358 W would be an easy fit.

I don't doubt that but nothing bores me faster than a .22 RF - note, I do have a decent little 10-22 with Timney fire control but optics are lacking.

You have never shot a Skookum 22LR,at any distance, yet alone Long Range. I get it,as VERY fhuqking few have or will. Hint.

Spend your cash becoming a better marksman. The 22lr is a great idea.

Sounds like you’re pretty well Covered.

22 creed would be the way over 223.
Maybe the 7 fury or 7 back country to keep the barrel short for the can.
Good luck

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

.223, high volume practice/varmint option.
