Oh well, it is what it is.

I do wish all medications and computer chips were made in the USA though.

Heads up, Price increases were just sent to us and are supposed to go up today. We need to, slowly, get with our web builder to take care of this so if you are thinking of a DNT now's the time, before the increases go into affect.

What percent increase? We got hit 15% on wire Monday and another 5% tomorrow.
I’ll gladly pay it if it brings manufacturing back to the U.S. and helps strengthen our economy.

PRESIDENT TRUMP IS RIGHT TO DO THE TARRIFFS ! its high time to stop letting these countries scram us , big deal about a few bucks on increased prices on a scope , in long run prices will be better for America .

i use talley's but many hate them, they have worked for years for me. I have 3 sets of them on hunting rifles, one set on a tikka LW.

I have been thinking about our friends at CL and am a bit concerned. I hope they don't get in a lot of inventory at tariff prices only to have the tariffs go away after a month or two of negotiations.

Noticed this morning that the Trijicon Tenmile I bought last Fall has increased at retail by $100. Tariffs will no doubt bump that more. Glad I jumped on that deal (less than $700).

We have been trying to be proactive and get product in pre-increase so we can continue to offer current pricing as long as our inventory allows. My concern is that same as UPS and Fed ex a few years ago when gas prices were higher they added a 3% fuel surcharge to their pricing and said it was temporary. Needless to say when the price of gas came down they never removed the 3% surcharge. There's many companies that will take advantage of this tariff situation to line their pockets.
We were alerted a few hours ago by one of the brands we do business with that effective immediately they are instituting price increases. My reply was "I assume whatever you currently have in stock will not be affected" and the reply was "The price increases will take effect immediately, applying to both our current inventory and future shipments." IMO, any company that will reply this way will not lower prices if/when the tariff situation is under control.

There are plenty of fairly priced non-inflated price optics out there on the open and used market to satisfy my needs.

So if you sell a brick of Large Rifle primers, which he can't find anywhere, you'll sell them for what you paid for them three or four years ago, and not for what it will cost you to replace them in the near future?

Same for your house...would you sell it for a "fair" markup from what you paid ten years ago, not considering what it will cost to replace it?
