Thinking a lot of us stocked up on this during the big sales. I did.

Is any body seeing this stuff perform accuracy wise with CCI SV or better?

I tried it in a new CZ 457 & wasn't impressed. But found out later I was rusty & needed more bench time. Been working on that.

Just curious what y'all are seeing.

Groups about the same as CCI SV does better after running thru a Neal Waltz die.

I'm having no problems keeping Norma 22 Tac inside of 2" at 100yds with my CZ or Christian Arms. Wouldn't mind picking up some more.

I have maybe four or five bricks. It’s good stuff, and generally cheaper than SV. In my 10/22 CSC it performs quite well, though not up to Club or a couple of SK varieties. For what it costs, it’s excellent.

+1

Picked up a flat of the Norma Tac-22.

How does the sub-sonic TAC shoot in comparison?

From a post I made last December:

IMO I'd rate it among the best of what you might call the standard grade ammo around that price point. Federal Automatch, CCI Standard Velocity, CCI Mini-Mags, Winchester Super-X - my rifles will generally shoot at least one of those very well and not shoot well with others, but they all like Norma Tac-22.

It's a bit greasy in warm weather and not something you'd want to carry around loose in a pocket but that's the only drawback I can think of.

I bought the stuff due to the great reports of consistency & dependability not to mention the deals available. Just wanted some back up RF in case of another case of political intrusion.

But if it can play beside CCI I must give it another try. Having 10K of it ain't a bad thing either way.

My Bergara BMR steel doesn't like to chamber it, and the accuracy was terrible. CCI standard velocity was better on all metrics...I really wanted to like it. I'll give it a try in my CZ 452 when it gets back from the gunsmith from getting a barrel chop....

It shoots WELL beyond expectations in all of my Annie 54's,Vudoo's and 82's. My Winny 52 Sporter is the weakest link, but I attribute that to the Reupold setting atop it and lack of parallax control. There should be a Murphy 75MOA 1913 rail waiting for me,when I arrive home. Losing the Reupold 6x42 and going 6x MQ,is never not a Magical Transformation. Hint.

Just sayin'...................

TAC-22 is superb. This is a bone stock 10/22 with BX trigger. The target squares are 1". That's 10 shots @ 50 yards; I did use the Waltz HP die on them.

I've found that my Waltz die does not change any point of impact with Tac either on a CZ 452 or 455, Remington 541 T and Remington 582. Pretty decent stuff!
