My boss gave it to me for Xmas so I didn’t pay anything for it and I know it’s out of your price range but this is definitely my new everyday carry favorite. Flips open fast and smooth and has a lock so it can’t open in your pocket. Super thin so it rides excellent in my pocket for a bigger knife. Lightweight and it’s a great steel for easy sharpening! I’d buy another if something ever happened to it.

I ended up buying a Buck 112 Slim Ranger and it arrived today. Ranger99 had suggested a Buck 110 slim and I hadn't even thought of looking at Buck. So I did some hunting and found the 112 slim which is smaller, thinner and much lighter than my original 110. It too is made in the USA. The thumb button is enough to allow one handed opening and the pocket clip doesn't require a winch to get it shoved onto you pocket. I think this one will meet my requirements just fine. Thanks for all the input.

You made a good pick!

I've been eyeballing a similar model in Menards for all of $30. Orange!'''

Well it's good you found what you wanted.
I have a few of the 90's era Bucklites and
Selectors that'll probably last me until
box-in-the-ground time. I have a green
handled Bucklite from back then I bought
from a man as new ( I imagine it was probably
a gift he didn't like) with the Buck Workman
etch on the blade. I lost it trying to quarter a
heavy buck to carry up a steep hill and dropped
it somehow. I found it right where I dropped
it the next time and put some caterpiller yellow
paint on each side to make it show up better,
but it flaked off pretty easily.
If I get to the point of buying a new one it'll
need to be an orange one

Good Luck with it
