I might be able to pick some of this up at a good price. I have always liked CCI ammo but I have never shot this. I would be shooting it out of a Marlin Model 60, a Ruger 10/22, a Beretta 92FS 22LR and a revolver. Anyone have any reviews on this ammo?

CCI generally very good in most of my 22's. Suggestion: If there is a significant quantity see if you can buy a brick and test it on your firearms. If you have good results go back and buy as much as you want. I purchased a brick of WW Power Point ammo years ago (US made). Shot lights out in my 452. Store was out by the time I returned for more. I've purchased several different batches of Power Points since then and none shot as well as that one brick.

The most consistent, cost effective cci 22lr ammo is cci standard velocity. It runs between 2.99-3.99 per 50. It is a lead round nose and great for any application; hunting or paper punching. I have a broad spectrum of Rimfire sporters and target guns and the standard velocity gets the most bang for your buck in the way of cci. If open to other brands, the most accurate “cheap” 22 ammo I have ever found is Norma tac 22. My Dakotas, Coopers, Kimbers, remys, bergaras, and Winchesters love it. Higher velocity ammo cycles better from a semi automatic action but is nowhere near as accurate as standard velocity

CCI has always been dependable, if not always the most accurate. That’s extended across the line. If one is stocking up for the future, that’s a good point to consider. When it comes to hunting or plinking/practice, gilt-edge accuracy, no matter how much we enjoy it, ain’t always a necessity. Going bang reliably kinda is.
Mini Mags are the standard remedy suggested for troublesome semi-autos, though when my LCP2 was back home at Ruger, they tested it with Aguila, probably because it was during “the troubles”. I bought a bunch of that as well for about $32 a brick IIRC.
What fresh Hell is this?

"Varmint" is just the latest designation for the 36 gr minimag HP. If looking to stock up in bulk for plinking and paper I'd save some money and purchase 40 gr Blazer (typically 6 cents) or 40 gr Std Vel (typically 7 cents).
Our 10/22s cycle SV reliably, but not all rimfire autos will do so. SV is generally more accurate than Blazer, tho my Ruger Precision shows no preference.
Don't confuse the bulk-packed 38 gr Blazer with 40 gr Blazer in 50 rd boxes.
TAC22 is good stuff......except in our Rugers. For whatever reason not one of our 10/22s and Americans prefers TAC over SV or Blazer.
TAC22 generally chronos slightly slower than SV, IME. That can translate as a cycling issue in autos. Indeed, our Glock 44s don't like TAC22, nor does the FA Uzi kit.
For killing stuff I use CCI segmented HPs at various power levels, from 710 fps Quiets up. We use a Waltz die to put a large HP on CCI SV solids. They are dramatically more sudden killers than CCI Subsonic HPs.

As far as accuracy with high velocity ammo goes, all of my .22's do well with Mini Mags. In fact better than with any other high velocity HP ammo. They cycle all of my semi autos dependably and are good hunting ammo.
