Found them on Bud's... Not in stock yet, but they have the part numbers listed. Also found them referenced all over with the part numbers. No one has them yet, but once you start digging they are being referenced all over...

Laughin’. Yeah, that one has been on my list for a while. I’ll be ordering one as soon as I can get someone to take the order. Retail looks to be about $1699, but they appear to be listed to go around $1500 depending.

Darn it, now I am going to have to buy one. Now the question is, what barrel length? Already have a new Anaconda in .44 with the 8” and a new Python with a 6” tube, so do I get the .45 colt with a 4” barrel or get it with a 6” barrel?

Gents, Help me out on this one. What is the appeal of the 45Colt in this revolver? I have 45 Colts in a SA Rugers and 44 mag's in Rugers, Smiths, and a Marlin. The 44 mag has a substantially higher SAAMI pressure rating (24,000psi vs 14,000psi for the Colt) and the rest is relatively equal, bullet diameters are close, bullet weights are comparable, and gun size is the same. I'm fully aware 45 Colt can be loaded very hot, so can the 44 mag. Overall though the 44 mag is factory approved to run hot, while the 45 Colt takes some finagling. You can also shoot 44 special out the mag version. Sure, you can shoot a Schofield in the 45 Colt...if you can find it.
Is the appeal nostalgia? If so, I get that. Or is it handloaders looking to soup up some 300grain powerhouses? Or maybe just use factory ammo and shoot big chunks of lead at 45acp velocities?

The Anaconda in .45 Colt can take Ruger level loads
Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets

Can't speak for anyone else, but I enjoy the versatility of 45 Colt not to mention that I live in Bear country and would like to have the capability of hot loads if the desire to carry that one comes along. I also like the nostalgia and I have at least 8 or 10 other 45 colts, so its an easy win for me. I have 44's also, but there's always been something about the colt that I really like. I have a redhawk in 45 Colt and if/when S&W comes out with the mountain gun in 45, I'll likely have to chase one of those down as well. As with anything, its not about need, but more about want. I have a 44 Anaconda. I could probably get by with just one or two guns but I enjoy options.

Love the nostalgia of 45LC. It is versatile and recoil feels less to me compared to 44 mag.

The Anaconda in .45 Colt can take Ruger level loads That does make it appealing. On the Python tread it looks like their Colt's custom shop is not offering to do action work any longer and suggest one custom smith to do the work. 300.00 for just sending in a few parts for a polish and 700.00 for the full package.
Please don't feed the trolls!
