This week I went to TX to hunt for a Scimitar Oryx. This was a meat hunt, but proved to be a real challenge finding one that offered a shot. Finally, just before dark, a herd crossed the canyon in front of me and went up the other side. This one presented a broadside shot at a lasered 160 yards. At the shot, it dropped in its tracks! I used Barnes VorTX ammo, with the 250 gr. XPB bullet, in my FA .454 Casull, which proved to be very effective. Next evening, this large feral boar showed up, and the same bullet at 81 yards took him down with a complete pass-thru.
