Does anyone know if there are any double single hammer fired 9mm as small or smaller than a Glock 43X? I love my Glock but I also think a hammer fired double single is about the safest carry pistol there is.

The Sig P239 is comparable in size but it’s been out of production for a while.

The SIG P239 is a solid recommendation, I've been carrying one IWB or in my vest on a regular basis since late 1996 early 1997 as back-up to our issue P229 and P226, I started with one in 40 S&W and then added 9mm to the mix.

Yes, they have been discontinued but are readily available, spare parts and magazines are available if you look a little bit. I have rat holed spare parts kits, recoil springs and spare magazines over the years so I'm in good shape.

If so, inclined you can convert to 357 SIG or 40 S&W pretty easy.

I've replaced dead night sights when required and changed out the grips to the Hogue G10's on all of them (still looking for the right set of Nills).

They have been dead nuts reliable, and I am a fan, so much so that I have two in 40 S&W and two in 9mm.
