I’m off road a fair bit in rock & the best I’ve ever had were Toyo AT2s at 40k. They have a harder tread compound. Wanted to run the newer AT3s but didn’t have time to get a set. Coopers ATs go 30k for the two sets I had. Goodyears have been hit and miss. Had a set of Wrangler MTs that would not stay balanced. Running the Goodyear Ultraterrains at the moment. Damaged a couple of the previous set and this is what was immediately available. Looking like a 35k tire at the moment. Their Kevlar Prograde tires didn’t make 5k before I ruined three. Not puncture resistant at all! I’ll never run a Firestone again. Ever. Blown the tread off of two of them. Michelin 35k and BFGs AT about 30k. I go through a set about every year to year and a half.

Whatever tire came on my 1995 Z71 Chevy. I think it had over 60000 miles when I finally replaced the bald things.

They may have been Goodyear Wrangler All Terrains.

Michelin Defenders ran 106,000K. Still had at least another 5000 in them, but winter was coming soon.

60k on Firestone Destination AT.
proly shoulda dumped em at 55K though. Still decent tread but they felt soft on the drive.

Never could get past 30K on old BFG ATs, but those vehicles were driven more aggressively.

Got 40k out of some Goodyear MTRs, surprised me but they too shoulda been replaced 5K sooner

Here in N .C., you saw more cane cane poles as you moved east across the state. We had our share around home, but not to the extent that they did Down East. Was taught to use an open faced reel as a young kid, so that’s what I rolled with.

Tire life is highly dependent on what you have them mounted on. Some cars will get great mileage out of the cheapest tires while others will wear out a set of the very best in under 50k.

My dad bought a Nissan Frontier with a set of General Grabbers on it. They were the hardest tires I ever saw and seemed impossible to wear out on the light little truck. He put a shade over 100k on them and they still had plenty of tread above the wear bars but were getting really checked and cracked.

He put a set of Pathfinder or whatever Discounts house brand is on it right before I bought it from him. I’ve got 15k on them and they look brand new so I’m hoping they’ll go forever like the Grabbers did. At 250k they might be the last set it ever sees.

I got 95,000-110,000 from the last 7 sets of tires I had on my Land Cruisers... Geolanders an Michelins...

Rotate and balance every 8-10k miles and keep pressure to 36lbs

Michelin "commercial" 10 ply on my motor home. I'm conservative about tires because there're the only thing keeping my behind off the gravel. My motor home is a 94 Isuzu base vehicle with a Trek body. Since 97 I'm on my third set because I worry about my family. I told the tire place to keep the two best for spares and got all six back because they said they're all still goodand safely usable after 8 years. All my other vehicles have Blizzaks on them.

Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I've gotten 100K + miles on a 1/2 GMC Sierra. Still had 1/4" of tread on them when I traded in the truck.

Still got two of them on the back of my old Ranch Truck. Probably got 100K on em now. Still got tread, too. 🤪
