I have a friend with a Husqvarna 1640 in 6.5x55, I wish it was mine and he had a feather in his @$$, we would both be tickled to death.

Anyways, this one has the steel bottom metal but the weak spring clip type floorplate catch which has broken. Anyone know where I could buy one?

Numrich, Brownells, Midway and a basic Google search have proven fruitless.

...and so God gave us the .30-06 Springfield!

The Husky 1640 hasn't been made in awhile, and this model isn't super common. It's either cut one out of spring stock, or find a local smith willing to do this for you.
