I don't know how many golfers there are here on the Campfire, but, I figured I'd post this question in the Sports Page section (more appropriate):

I have 6 putters as seen below. They are sort of a One from each decade type of thing, all "old school". cool

Left to Right:
1965 Wilson 8802
1973 Ping Pal
1983 Ping B60 <-- Currently in my bag. It still works, and makes putts for me!
1996 Odyssey DF550 (my wife uses it when playing Putt-Putt. It's too short for me).
2000 Generic Knock-off "Clone" of the famous Odyssey Rossie II, that I had made for me (the guy even put my name of it!)
2010 Odyssey White Hot XG1

I currently have five. Each of them serves to fill a particular niche in my on-going quest to mis-read breaks and miscalculate speed.

Great replies... Thanks, guys! Looking at my photo of my putters, the one putter I really wish I could use in the old, ancient, Wilson 8802. I have tried and tried to putt with it, and can't sink a putt for my life. frown I am keeping it for historical aspects, that's all.

When you golf, be sure to wear two pairs of pants, in case you get a hole in one

On the tee at the ratty old, municipal style, golf course in Beaufort, SC.
Sand all over the place. Weeds in the fairways. Greens were NOT in the best condition too.
But it was extremely cheap for an 18 hole course!

Bumping my thread back up to the top (I see not everyone plays golf...)

Aside from putting (which is vitally important).. 18ft putt... 6ft putt... 2" putt... it all counts as a stroke (hitting the ball, adding to your scorecard).

Here's a rough breakdown of the clubs, should anyone decide to go to one of those golf driving ranges:
Honest... I'm a 64yr old grandpa, don't have the "swing" that I used to 20-30 years ago, but this is me:

Driver: 220-230 yards
3 Wood: 210-220 yards
3 Hybrid: 190-200 yards
4 Hybrid: 180-190 yards
----------
5 Iron: 170 yards
6 Iron: 160 yards
7 Iron: 150 yards
8 Iron: 140 yards
9 Iron: 130 yards
----------
Pitching Wedge: 120 yards
Approach/Gap Wedge: 110 yards
Sand Wedge: 100 yards
-----------
Note: The wedges can be hit 10 yards up onto the green, over a bunker, or full out 100, 115, yards +/-... These clubs make or break you.
