I will be visiting Dubai for work next month, and see they have fishing opportunites there. Am curious if anyone has any experience with a good charter operator in that area? Would appreciate any recommendations.

I've done plenty of that. Was hoping someone happened to have personal experience after having chartered a boat there.

Never fished that area from a charter but sailed all over the Persian Gulf in warships. I have seen some huge schools of tuna there. Be warned that Dubai is a very expensive city. Those people have more money than brains. They buy their 16 year old kids new Lambos and Ferraris to learn to drive in and the police force has a couple Bugattis to run down the speeding super cars. I'd expect a decent charter to be pricey.
You get out of life what you are willing to accept. If you ain't happy, do something about it!

Ended up being canceled due to winds. And yeah - everything was quite expensive. Interesting country, but man...almost too new/perfect. Felt souless to be honest.
