L46 " Riihimaki" , 222 heavy barrel , single set trigger , 5-15 Browning ( Bushnell 4200) scope. Not just the most accurate Sako , but most accurate centerfire I've ever owned, it'll punch the same hole.

Be hard to say but the two that I cannot chose between are:

1. AV in 338 that when pushing a 225 bullet with a max charge of RL-19 was incredible... cloverleaf at 100 with no issues if I did my part.
2. s20 in 6.5 Creedmoor. Just sill accurate. One enlarged hole at 100 regularly when i do my part which is a little easier on this gun since it is the precession model with the wide front stock, etc...

Love my Sakos... Honestly never had one that shot over an inch at 100 handloads... (I hand load all centerfire rounds so I do not even buy factory ammo)

Nice, I shot a Sako A20 when a member here brought it to my range for me to try it out. We both agreed that my AR10 6.5 Creed shot better.. Better do better than that.. buddy..

That’s enough of your “buddy” and target crap. You post plenty of pictures of groups that wouldn’t even allow you on a competitive bench rest shoot.

You litter the forums with groups and don’t seem to shoot that much stuff. Good for you, but knock off your snide little comments. I don’t really care how small a group a rifle can shoot when the useable accuracy will hit prairie dogs at 400 yards.

Everyone has a rifle and a group, but you seem to think yours are better and they aren’t…

My most accurate Sako is a .308 Varmint. Shooting Lapua factory ammo with 185 Mega’s it will shoot 1 hole if I use the set trigger and I’m not the best bench shooter. I would give my left nut for a Varmint in 260. I got into a bidding war with a guy on Gunbroker for one but blinked!

I have a Sako A7S in 270 that Flattop_Johnny from this site can put Sako factory 156 Hammerheads into one ragged hole, I can not, 3/4” is the best I can do with this rifle. Johnny is an outstanding bench shooter!

Sako76: WOW - that 308 Sako is sure dialed in for you - baby/treasure it!
Good luck in finding that Sako 260 Varmint - I have a Remington 700 VLS in 260 Remington and it is a dream - accurate, low recoil, DEADLY on Deer/Antelope and stays sighted in year to year (Leupold 6.5x20 variable scope on it).
Keep up the good work.
Hold into the wind
