LOL... I was a brand new YN2 (E-5, 2nd Class Yeoman), in the Coast Guard back then. I had my Good Conduct, and my Marksman M-16 and Marksman 1911 Pistol ribbons, and (if I remember) I had a Special Operations Service ribbon that they gave me, for taking part in a "military exercise" where I had to work as the duty Yeoman with the Communications Center, working days, nights, rotational swing shift, etc... Interesting stuff, but, I didn't know day from night! LOL...
Edit: The cool thing was I had a very quick crash course in Morse Code as well. I mean, I knew "some" as we all do, but they taught me the rest and I kept up with it.
