Its our fault... Gee and i thought they were just hungry all this time. Simply put, a waste of money and time. With these idiot researchers logic... If I die in an airplane crash, It was my fault because I chose to fly in a plane

The research isn't entirely wrong. Virtually every time a bison attacks someone in Yellowstone it was because a human did something stupid. If I know sharks are in the water, I don't go in the water. If I know gators are in the water, I don't go in the water and I don't try to pet the bison and grizzly in Yellowstone. So far it's working, I haven't been attacked yet.

Most people don't really want the truth.

They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

Thank God, we had the US taxpayer available to pay for this very important research project.

I submit to you that the apex predators of North America like bears, wolves, cats, and alligators aren’t inherently less aggressive than apex predators in Africa or other wild places, we just did a really good job of eliminating them and instilling the fear of man in those that still exist. Now that we no longer shoot these things on sight, they have no reason to fear us and do the things that predators do…same as anywhere else.

Why do snakes bite men 90% of the time? And why in most of those cases was alcohol involved?

Pretty ridiculous. I guess if people just stay away from all areas where alligators live there will be no attacks. That's the conclusion implied by the study. I suppose that's technically correct but it's hardly a realistic option.

Their next study is to see that if you stay in downtown New York your chance of grizzly attack is lower.

I had one of those SC State Game Biologist try to tell me that alligators don't go in salt water. I was trying to convince him that an 8' gator had been hanging out around my dock behind my beach house. While I was walking him around back to show him, I inquired about his degree and found out it was in animal husbandry. He got the rest of his education when I walked him out on the dock and showed him the gator floating about 7 feet away.

That gator had absolutely no fear of man and would come closer when he saw someone on the dock. I suspect that visitors to the island had been feeding him like they tend to do when security isn't around. That makes a gator very dangerous...

The gator hanging around the dock this year is only about 5 feet long, but he is already becoming a pest. I can't let the kids in the family fish off the dock if there is one of those hanging around.

Swam with this girl in my pond for 15 years. Wally was her name. Showed up in 2008 18 inches long and was 7 1/2 feet long in 2023. when she was injured while mating and died about a week later. Gators are pretty aggressive when mating and are a lot more intelligent than people think. Got three of her babies, from her last nesting that same year, in my pond now. 2 1/2 years old and about 3 feet long.[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]

Treehugging liberals always use the phrase..."it's your fault for being in their home"
I've seen it a million times.
Idiots.
