If you want to keep it simple, the Umarex Origin might be worth a look. I'd opt 22 caliber myself, plenty of pellets available in that bore, and good pesting power.

This another one I was considering in a more traditional wood stocked pump rifle:

I have that one too, in 22 cal. It's a nice rifle, will put out about 18 ft-lbs which is pretty good for a multi-pumper.

I've only seen it offered in .177, and .22.
