Picked up a RemArms 7RM with hammer forged barrel and 1:8 twist. Should be a shooter with modern bullets. Many yeah/nay arguments whether slathering a barrel is needed for break-in, or simply putting 50-100 rounds down the pipe accomplishes same thing.
Heard that button rifled (cut) barrels do benefit from moly, but not so much hammer forged.
For those who do, what voodoo grease do you prefer for barrel break-in?

Buttoned barrel are buttoned, cut rifling is cut and hammer forged spouts, are hammer forged. Hint.(grin)
KEY is to do whatever makes you warm/fuzzy. Hint.
For myself, after 100's of spouts,I simply clean to bare metal(no lube) and start shooting moly coated bullets, for the life of said spout. Once dead,I rinse and repeat. Hint.
I try to avoid, poking anything but bullets in/through a bore, after that initial cleaning. Hint.
Just sayin'.............

Most of the rifles I shoot are not custom chambered or barreled. Lately on stuff say 6mm and up, don't even bother with barrel prep. Just go shoot.
If the rifle shoots MOA @ 100 its good to go.
If and when I miss a couple critters I check zero.
If the POI of the first shot out of a cold barrel is MOA in regard to the POA, then all is good.
If I do barrel break in, it's 50-100 strokes with a bore brush coated with a JB Bore Paste/Kroil mix, then down to bare metal with patches.
If I am cleaning, then the preceding ritual with the additional step of WipeOut/Patch Out combined with Accelerator until there is no blue on the patch.
As Always, YMMV.

About all I ever do is try not to get them too hot in the beginning or let powder residue build up. I don’t worry about copper much, but do hit it with some chemical stuff after a time, then they mostly just get patched out with some CLP or other once in a while. If accuracy falls off, then I will check for copper at the muzzle or use some copper solvent.
Ya’ll do Ya’ll….

Personally, barrel break in is nonsense. Just clean the manufacturer's product and shoot it.
A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…” Yes I did get the COVTARD jab...

Once dead,I rinse and repeat. Hint. About how long does that take? Okie John
If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

Once dead,I rinse and repeat. Hint. About how long does that take? Okie John There was a time, when I kept fairly good notes on round count,as well as extrapolating pounds of powder,in a given chambering/bore size,to relative "Life". Where the waters get muddy(quickly),is in different Manufacturers of spouts and the materials they use. Due same,I'm jaded in regards to picking Makers. Hint. In a nutshell,I am soooooooo NOT into fhuqking around. If/when there's ANY weirdness, for ANY reason,I'm stabbing a new spout aboard. I've a rather good feel, for what do what and more importantly WHY,butcha' can't "save" a troubled bore. Fhuqk setting back and Turd Polishing,I've BT/DT and have ALL the fhuqking T-shirts. I avoid pissing up ropes. Hint. Bullets matter wayyyyyyyyy more than headstamps,I am MORE than happy,to let Great bullets,do their thing. Barrels are CHEAP,in the equation. Hint. Headed to load some fhuqking Booger 108 EH's,in 6BR now. Hint. Just sayin'..............

Clean the barrel grease out and shoot it. I doubt I would ever know much real difference.

I followed the manufacturer's published ritual - haven't got a non-compliant baseline to compare with though so don't know if I wasted all that effort or not. I haven't even lost any sleep over it either.
Whatever you said...everyone knows you are a lying jerk. That's a bold assertion. Point out where you think I lied. Well?
