That reminds me of a book, "Evolution? The fossils say, No.". A few years later he wrote another: "Evolution? The fossils still says, No!". Dr. Duane Gish

Really good video. Thanks for sharing this with us. Ringman, I’m curious about Dr Gish. Is he saying that the Earth is only 6000 years old? Ive heard quite a few pastors assure people of this, but I always thought that since God is an infinite creator, he probably doesn’t work on a 24 hour day. Reon

First, I agree with your assessment "God is an Infinite Creator, He probably doesn’t work on a 24 hour day." Nevertheless, God gave us His Word where we can see God made time for our benefit. We read in Genesis1:14-16, "Then God said, 'Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate day from the night and let them be for signs and seasons and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth;' and it was so. God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; the stars also." God created a mature universe with plants and shrubs and trees baring food ready to eat. He also created mature ready to "be fruitful and multiply" animals and people. Adam named his wife Eve because she was the mother of all the living people. I guess tomorrow we celebrate her day.
Until about 200 years ago there was no doubt God created everything in six 24-hour solar days about 6,000-7,000 years ago. Scientists have shown in sedimentary rock and ice layers they are laid down quickly. It doesn't take millions or years of slow gradual deposition to get what we see in the world around us. But God says in His Word He will send a deluding influence on those people who want to believe a lie.
Dr. Gish doesn't say anything anymore. He died in 2013. I saw him debate another Ph.D. level scientist on creation/evolution at University of Oregon. After the debate the evolutionist remarked, "I feel like I went to a cannibal picknick and was the main dish."

Did a little hunting. A search for Dr Gish turned up this video.
Can’t link it directly, but you can watch it on YouTube. Watched another video, probably from someone on here posting a link. Don’t recall the name of it, but it pretty well lays out that DNA is in fact a language. It’s pretty much impossible for intelligent life to evolve. The Bible proves that my God lives. And what’s more, He Himself became Flesh to provide us with a salvation we can never earn Reon

Penny and I visited Montana in 2017. Not much of a rock hound, but Makoshika State Park near Glenndive is a must see. They’ve been digging up fossils there for over 100 years. Looking back, the days we spent there and the Confluence Center near Williston were 10 times more interesting than Yellowstone. Add in the Black Hills and there’s literally no contest! It’s really hard to imagine a seaway from the Gulf of America to the Bering Sea, but evidently there was. And ancient Buffalo 5 times the size of our Bison. As far as millions of years versus 6 thousand, I can’t say. Honestly it doesn’t matter, for the simple reason that I’m certain in due time, it will be explained. We live in a world that we can only experience through our 5 limited senses. But there’s also way too much evidence that says we will not live for a few decades and then we die and that’s all. Reon

For those who never heard of Makoshika, here’s a little taste. Here’s a link to the Yellowstone River Confluence Center. Penny and I didn’t know then what I do now. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed Yellowstone NP. It’s awesome, but it’s also big and crowded. We spent a week there and didn’t come near seeing it all. If I had a limited time, I’d skip it and concentrate on these two, and as time allowed see Custer State Park in South Dakota and Roosevelt NP. Reon
I live in Glendive. Makoshika is pretty cool. But I prefer the Missouri/Yellowstone divide about 40 miles west. Lots to see in both areas. Teddy Roosevelt park 60 miles east is pretty interesting as well.

Doncha wish you could take a .375 or .458 and go back in time for a hunt?
To me, it doesn't really matter if the Earth is 6,000 years, 6 million years or 6 billion years old. I know God created it because I see His hand in this world every time I take the opportunity to look.
We definitely know that God's time is not our time. Scriptures tell us that 1,000 years in our time is one day in God's time - and even that could be merely a figure of speech meaning "When the bible says one day, it really means a loooooong time!"
Genesis 5:5 says Adam lived 930 years. Yet he was told he would die in the day he ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. You can think of that as a spiritual death that resulted from his disobedience, but if you accept that one day in God's time = 1,000 years in our time, then that statement was literally true.

In Psalm it says a thousand years as a watch in the night. God is NOT bound by time. He created time for us. God is very clear about His creation. God wrote with His finger, in the 10 commandments, He created everything in six days. Therefore we are to work for six days.
Due to brain washing by T.V., movies, cartoons, education, and anything Satan can use people choose to believe men's instead of God's Word.
Adam consisted of body, soul, and spirit. That part that can die, died in "trespasses and sin" THAT day.
