I have SIG 322 which I like a lot but it’s gigantic. I’m looking for something about the size of a Glock 43.
Something to take with me when I take the dogs for a walk and it’s not too difficult to conceal.
Any recommendations?

My two suggestions: Ruger SR-22, mine has Glock reliability. Keltec P-17, not normally a K fan but the current ones are very reliable, under $200!

I wish Glock made a 43-sized 22 LR, or wish someone made a Glock 43 22 LR conversion.

Interesting question.
My answer to date has been Elsie Peeto. I’m also fond of the 8 shot 3” S&W 317 revolver. Hi Viz front sight helps aging eyes.
But always eager for new ways to skin that cat.

Just remembered I still have my daughter's Ruger SR-22 in the safe. Fits in all my Glock 43 holsters, as well. First round pull is atrocious (DA/SA), but 100% reliable if I recall.
Thanks to all for input!

The SR22 is sorta a semi-auto Kit Gun. Mine is surprisingly accurate and very reliable.

The Taurus is TX-22 is allegedly pretty good, rare for a Taurus, and holds like 15-16 rounds. The PT22 OTOH, made Honest Outlaw’s Worst 5 list.
Had a Bobcat, but found it underwhelming, and it cut my hand when shooting right-handed. The LCP2 in my pocket is a good one now after I futzed over it, finally grinding off the empty mag tab. Now it works perfectly. It very nearly went for a swim in the Shenandoah before I got it fixed.
What fresh Hell is this?

Ditto on the Ruger SR22 - reliable and accurate, the DA/SA is a nice feature. SA trigger pull on mine was a bit heavy but not a deal breaker. Now, you could try to find one of these and go in style... Beretta Cheetah .22 ![[Linked Image]](https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/gallery/80/medium/222698.jpg)

S&W 617 3"(for the adjustable sights) and CT laser grip. Generally in a GFI Kenai holster. I've wanted one of those 617's for years but never acted on it; the 22/45 Lite has held my attention.
The Kenai holster is the best tip going.
