No different than the UK court that prevented parents from taking their child out of the country for experimental treatment, or the many places here that will take your daughter for an abortion or give them birth control without your knowledge or permission. The Left thinks your children are theirs, except when it comes to footing the bills, especially the bills that result from unauthorized medical procedures. Those belong to you!
All that said, I’d check another source to be certain. There’s a lot of stuff online that just ain’t so.

Abstract
Canadians are looking to expand their Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) program to include mature minors. Yet, little evidence exists to support this expansion. The Council of Canadian Academies released a report in December 2018 indicating that little is known about how mature minors make meaning of end of life care. To address this knowledge gap, research is needed to understand how mature minors make meaning of the dying process in the first place. Since social perceptions drive Canadian health care, practice, and end of life mentalities, the question that needs to be asked is: What is the Canadian perception of a good death for mature minors? To answer this question it is first necessary to examine the meaning that death and dying hold for mature minors, as voiced by mature minors themselves.

It is not the "humane euthanasia" that irritates me, it is the "non parental permission" that is the issue.

And back in the 60's when the Nazi's were still fresh in the minds of adults, and I was a teenager, I was told that it only takes a couple generations or so before folks don't recall that stuff anymore, and as they die off, the younger folks start to believe that crap because they never experienced it or have no recollection of it, and the cycle begins anew. That's how the "history repeats itself" theory has been proven true time and time again.
