Since many sites such as Photopoint are starting to charge to post photos, you know have a great alternative! At www.HotSpotHunting.com you can create your own multiple page hunting web site with pictures and text for free!!! And you can send out the URL to your hunting buddies to check out your site! You can also post photos to the Trophy Wall or the Trail Cam Wall.
------------------
Ed Kautz

www.HotSpotHunting.com

www.HotSpotFishing.com

www.HotSpotGuides.com

I logged on your hnting message board, and the first name I came across was "GAME WARDEN" That name rings a bell sir, I remember it from an old Animal rights forum. the owner of that screen name pretended to be a hunter, but it was clear from the start he was nothing but a shill, who's only purpose was to devide hunters against each other! Thank you Mr. Kautz, but I think I'll pass!

Duggy, you really crack me up! You registerd on this site just days ago and the first thing you do is start calling names and causing trouble... Since I own and operate a hunting web site and forum, and frequent many other fine hunting web sites such as 24 Hour Campfire, it is easy to see that the true anti-hunters are the ones that generally create posts such as yours to cause trouble.
If you were true to the heritage of hunting you would have contacted the 'Game Warden'(web master) at Hot Spot Hunting, or any of our thousands of down-to-earth, hard-hunting, knowledge-sharing members, and found out our site is a very fun and exciting online hunting community created for hunters and hunting service providers to easily communicate, share, and learn about hunting.
There are many young hunters and adult beginners that frequent many web sites and what good leason does it teach them to see one 'supposed' hunter calling another hunter names, especially an anti-hunter. Some hunters may favor 24 Hour's site, some may favor my site, or even a totally different site. That is fine. The goal is to promote the heritage of hunting and to make sure our children and grand kids have the opportunity to hunt years from now. We have enough real issues with real anti-hunters, we don't need petty posts like these...
Ed

Mr Kautz, You are absolutely right, I jumped the gun, but you have to understand where this animosity is coming from. The screen name "GAME WARDEN" is assoccieated with a year long battle. A battle that even included the hacking of some hunter's computer accounts. It was waged by a person useing that screen name, that claimed to be not only a hunter, but a GAME WARDEN, a phrase that is seldom used anymore for folks who work for the parks and wildlife departments of North America. This person caused so much dencension among the hunters posting there that we began looking for him in other places. We finally found him on one of the AOL Animal rights fourms, as well as the ACLU animal rights forum. Many of our posts were re-posted there, highly edited, used as "quotes OUT OF THE HUNTER'S MOUTH". This is the platform I had to jump from, so even if you don't care, I felt I owed you an explanation at least. For your information I'm 64 years old, have been hunting on my own sense the age of six. Have hunted on three continents and am a collector/trader of fine double rifles, and African wildlife art. I have 11 grand kids, and two great grand kids, and all but three, hunt, and shoot, one is too small at the age of 8 months one is an anti hunter, age 15, and one just doesn't like to hunt, though all these childeren's parents hunt.
PS: This is strange, but "DUGGY" is what the "GAME WARDEN" used to call me too! Things that make you go HuMMMMMMMmmmm!
I apologize for jumping the traces, but Im still leary of that screen name,
"CAINT HEP IT" as my grandpa would say!

Thank you very much for the explanation, Dugaboy1. The Internet can be a savage beast at times. Anyone can be anything at anytime to anyone! And unfortunately there are those, such as anti-hunters, with to much time on their hands and not enough brain to put it to a good use, so they bother the rest of us.
I'm not sure about your statement that the phrase 'Game Warden' is extinct. I live in Wisconsin, USA, and have hunt other states, and just about everyone I know calls the game warden, 'Game Warden' or 'Warden'. (There are other names but I can't repeat them here! ) What name do believe is politcally correct now?
And great job with passing on hunting to your family! That's a very high percentage of young hunters you have there! You set a very good example for the rest of us 'fathers' to take the time to slow down and put in some quality time with our kids.
And I assure you, the use of 'Duggy' was purely coincidental. I admit I was a bit upset with your post and I was trying to bite my lip and make it light hearted, so I butchered you name. Actually the name Duggy Howser from some T.V. show actually popped into my mind, but that sound to lame so I shortened it to Duggy. Anyway, more than anyone really needed to know!
Good luck on your future hunts and with your rifle collecting!
Ed

Dugaboy1 & Ed,
A lesson well learned ... both of you guys have vast experience in life ... BUT remember you need to be street wise on the internet as well, just as you would be in those big US cities like NY & Chicago, and Johannesburg in SA ... of cource anybody can call themselves what they like and prey on the "innocent" on the net, walk & stalk carefully and dont let the blood presure rise toooo much ...
happy hunting
Regards, Peter

Thank you Peter, and you are right as usual!
Peter, This is off topic, but I would like to ask you, what is the news on the hunting sittuation in Zambia? Does your brother's ranch, in Western Zambia, have a good population of Leopard? I hunted the near by Kafuwe Flats back in 93, but would like to hunt your brother's ranch mainly for Buffalo, but if he has some Leopard!!!!!!! DUGABOY1,
Glad you are keeping well ...
My brother Alan was at the ranch some 5 weeks ago when the ZAWA ( zambia wildlife authority ) representitive inspected the property .... ZAWA control all licencing and hunting issues in Zambia.
The ZAWA representive verbally advised Alan that 2002 hunting season is ALL SYSTEM GO ... but we dont expect an official press release untill after the elections, which are due Oct/Nov, although knowing africa, word might come out earlier !!
To answer part two of your question, yes, we do have Leopard which come and go on the property, one never knows how many are roaming the ranch at any given point in time, so we offer leopard but we dont guarantee that you will always get one .. we have todate only had one hunter try for leopard, and he had success on his last day hunting ... leopard in southern africa including Zambia, are normally min 12-14 day hunts, they are not always easy to find and hunt .... we will of cource guarantee success with a "buff"
Keep in touch as/if necessary ... we expect 2002 to be heavily booked .... at this point in time I already have four hunters for "buff" on the "pre-booking" schedule
