Does anyone know if someone makes a Shooting Rest Head/ Adapter for a camera tripod?


I have two good tripods that I would like to be able to get some double duty out of if possible.

I have a rubber/foam head that is thread 1/4-24 on the bottom that screws onto the tripod for a rest. I got it at the SHOT from a larger company but I can't remember who. My son has killed no less that 100 grackles off the sucker to date. Use it one year on an elk hunt where my hunter made a 350 yd shot at a bedded bull and he never got up!

If I can find it directly, I'll take pic and post it.

the Bogen 322RC2 tripod head makes a nice rest (very flat on top). I've used it more than once as a shooting rest and it can be used as-is for either purpose without any changeover.
