....it was sunny and hot this morning, I was working in the yard with no shirt and a pair of shorts on.......that was a few hours ago......now we have blinding snow outside mixed with hail!.....<BR>.....is this the middle of May??????<BR>DS

Sonnie....it don't snow much....but it snowed yesterday! It literally went from 74 degress to 34 in one hour!......40 degrees drop! I got sunburned that morning, and was pulling out the long johns that afternnon!....man I love this stuff!!!!!!! <BR>DS

Slayer, -- I can just feel and relive the anticipation you are feeling and I know George can also. When we first discovered the adventures of the mountains it was awsome, each new morning held new adventures and the days were too short. Live it up Bud, it's worth every minute, just see the wife has her things or there will be a change. Life is good, enjoy everything, health comes FIRST, without it happiness is impossable. -- no

Sonnie....you are a very wise fella!....you nailed it on the head.......the toughest part was making my wife comfortable......B'cat can tell you....just about the time he and I were living it up in the mountains....she was getting homesick!<P>She has since settled in, the new house made a big difference...her new job help complete her void....and my days at home have increased 10 fold,,,,,,already making up for the time away I will spend this fall. I think she is really liking Ciolorado now....and hopefully the next winter will be more NORMAL than the last! Normal....yeah right!<BR>DS

You guys should try Iowa, if you want to sample some butt-suck weather.<P>From Halloween to Easter, the snow is at least two feet deep.<P>Then, when it melts, we have mud, floods, and other assorted crud to help breed the mosquitoes.<P>And now, for the last two months, there are 3 conditions: Rain, sunny with 50 MPH winds, or a few hours of calm to allow the biting insects a nice meal. Usually just before it rains again.<P>Try hunting, shooting, fishing, motorcycling ect. given these conditions, and I promise you will spend over half of your year sorely frustrated.<P>It has been over seven months since we had decent weather. I can't even properly sight in during the Monsoon Season here!<P>Needless to say, I'm packing up my game, gonna move out West...<BR>

E. Jones....good luck on your move west....I made it last year...left the muggy deep south for the unpredictable mountaneous west....I kinda like the variations....at least for now! <BR>DS
