I just got home with a new CZ 550 American in 9.3/62. Where can I buy new factory brass for it? I have New Redding dies, 250 gr Nosler Ballistic Tips, and RP 35 Whelan brass that necks up fine. I cant make a false shoulder with current set up so Im wondering if the controlled feed extractor and seating the bullet slightly into the rifling will suffice for fire forming.

UncleRupe--
The throat in CZ 9.3x62's is VERY long, so it would be tough to seat bullets out to fireform a shoulder. Wait for the factory brass. It has worked very well in every 9.3 I've tried it in, incpouding my own CZ 550. n fact I have yet to try a bullet yet from 232 Norma and 250 BT to 286 Nosler and X that doesn't shoot under an inch.

Thanks guys, for the quick response. I have a Speer book that shows drawings of the 9.3/ 62 and the 35 Whalen. In lokking them over I sae that they were a couple thousands off here and there and I would probably wind up with lopsided cases at best. I went on the internet last night and found some Lapua brass at Midway, Ive got a hundred rounds coming that will probably last me a long time. This internet chat room stuff is new to me and I find it very rewarding. Thanks again.
