I'm wondering if any of you know anything about Joe's work, and if he is recommended or not for building highly accurate hunting rifles. He is is Conrad, MT., and uses the name "Longshot Rifles" for his business, but I don't think he is affiliated with Longshot Rifles in Garden City, MO.

I'm looking for a smith to do a new build with high accuracy being key. I'm up in Washington, and haven't heard anything about top smiths up here, so I'm considering smiths in other states, unless anyone knows any here that are recommended?

Some of us in Washington just aren't as well known yet. Here are a few pics of my rifles and groups. I shot a new personal best yesterday with my 338 Edge. I will get pics of it soon, let's just say, its in the .1's for 5 shots off a bipod.

From what I understand, Joe builds a hell of a rifle also.

Yes,

My hobby turned into a side business. I have been building for years, and grew up around gunsmithing. My dad did the same thing...had a job, and did the gunsmithing on the side. When my brother and I started doing shooting comps, people kinda noticed the rifles, and then they wanted one. Kinda snowballed from there.

The Twin Edges are 31" barrels, the other is a 30"...the 6.5's are all 26" barrels.

Still working on the website to get it finalized. My brother is doing that part....I do the gunwork, he does the website work.
