....one more thing. Ditch the signature. Why do you make it so hard on yourself?

Your signature is disgusting.
My BAD teal - and I sincerely thank you for pointing it out to me. I was confused because there are 3 types of CMHs - one for each branch of the military. Sorry the banner disgusts you. It would disgust me too, unless I knew the real story of why I put it there. Like I said, I'll delete it later. I only hope it disgusts AJ as much as it disgusts you.

Geez, AJ, lets hope the guy who sells/gives away these banners is authorized to do so, or he could be in a lot of trouble. wink

It disgusts me because I served with people who deserved and earned that which you have stolen for yourself. Many deserved and didn't receive. You don't deserve and took for yourself. Don't care what your reasons are - it's wrong.

Don't care much if you like me or not - the sig line disgusts the veteran in me, not the campfire member.

I don't care much for Blaine's ego nor any pilot's ego but the sig is wrong. Ego's and who likes who has nothing to do with it. If you can't compete with Blaine the argument of ideas and have to resort to denigrating and debasing medals and honors reserved for those who have earned them (many of them dead when they received them) - you already lost.

The disrespect shown for those that served aside, this is one of the funniest threads I've read in a loooong time.

Teal, this was totally unnecessary. I hope I'm misunderstanding you. Are you trying to tell me that you're going to do something about my job? A guy who does maintenance at Schneider?

Indeed. I've never served, and still found it in very poor taste. Regardless of what point was trying to be made.....

No what I was saying is that from a small trucking company, one that more than likely will be facing very hard times, I would ask myself about my attitude and how it might affect a possible job search in the future. 2500 trucking companies with more than 5 trucks went TU last year.

Right now drivers are a dime a dozen, gonna have to be special to get hired at a place with freight and a future. The attitude I saw displayed wasn't conductive to that.

And I don't "do maintenance" - I have an office job in the maintenance system. I see why driver's get fired and right now bad attitudes and what it leads to, tend to be the nails that stick out the farthest when the man with the hammer comes around.

I've never served either, and all kidding aside, sometimes I feel guilty that I haven't. I tip my hat to those that do so that I didn't have to.
