Any 1894FG .41mag owners over here? It's getting to be the time to get those loads worked up for next deer season. 210gr XTP over 19.5 gr of W296 has been very good in my Redhawk. If my FG likes it, i will produce 50 of those babies. vance
That's an x!

I realize this is kinda an old post but I just found it. With the standard disclaimer: 265 gr LFN-GC (True-Shot) 21.5 gr. W296 CCI Lg pistol Magnum Primer 1.711 OAL 1675 fps; 18.5 Extreme Spread; 7.9 SD; 6.5 AD. Use same load in Ruger Black hawk. about 400 fps slower & rest of stuff not quite as good, as in multiply results by about 3.5.

I have one of the original 1894S straight stock carbines. Have setteled on 23 grains of H110 with any jacketed bullet from 200-220 grains. Depending on the bullet weight velocity runs in the 1800-1950 range. 26 grains of H110 with a 170 Sierra runs 2100 fps. 22 grains of H110 with a hard cast 250-265 grain bullet is also very accurate but I have not chronograped any yet.
