....and with a fatter bullet?
Any real difference between the velocities achieved with a 200gr bullet in each caliber would be on the order of the differences between different barrels in the caliber.
I've shot a fairly diverse variety of bigger game animals (over a 35-year period) with the .350 RemMag but admit I've never even seen a rifle chambered in the .325WSM but I can read a loading manual.
Or do you have a different opinion?

I know a couple of guys that bought .325 WSM's when they were looking for "something bigger than a .270 or .30-'06, but not as big as a .375." They are happy with them, and routinely kill stuff. I'm not sure any of them know they bought an 8mm, nor do I suspect they much care. I also doubt if they've heard of a .350 Rem Mag. The .325 WSM came along at just the right time to meet their needs, and there it is. Practically speaking, there is a lot of overlap out there...in cartridges, trucks, restaurants...it's great to be American . Dennis

4 of our local stores had 325 WSM ammo on the shelves. None had 350 Remington mag. That's probably the biggest difference now. Other than that the 350 shoots heavier bullets better and the 325 shoot lighter more aerodynamic bullets better..........................DJ

The 325 WSM does pretty much everything a 338 Mag does, and just about as well, but from a short action and without some of the abuse to the shoulder.
So for whatever reasons the 338 Mag became so successful over the 350, probably could be applied to the 325.

I've trimmed my elk hunting battery down to a 325 WSM for general use and a 35 Whelen (ballistic twin of the 350 RM) for a back up or when dark timber is where the beasts are.
What will one do that the other will not? Nothing, except the 325 does shoot a bit flatter.

Come chambered in a Kimber Montana? :-)
Dunno, never shot a .350. I do own a .325 WSM and a .358 though.
Couple thoughts, if you really want to get into the ballistic minutia here- first, IMHO you'd want to be comparing how a .350 handles 225-gn bullets to how a .325 handles 200's. In .35 caliber, 200's are pretty "light".
Second, .325 recoil is not bad a'tall. It comes it right between my 30-06 and my .338. Dunno about .350 recoil.

If a 35 Whelen recoils about like a 350 RM, which it should, then I can tell you the 350 definitely kicks less than your Kimber 325, which I also have one of.

You can go to a Walmart and buy 325WSM ammo. If you lost your 350 Rem Mag ammo on a hunting trip you could be in trouble.
You can get a Kimber Montana in 325WSM but not in a 350 Rem Mag.
It shootes flatter.
The 325WSM is a more versatile hunting round in North America than the 350 Rem Mag. It shoots flat enough for antlope and is big enough for elk and moose at extended ranges.

I'd try one. I seem to be in the grip of a medium bore fetish lately. Anybody want to buy a 7mm Mag ?
