I am reloading the 225 Nosler partition. Has anyone tried this combo at all? What was accuracy and velocity like and with how many grains?
Any other loads out there? I would really like to get 2650-2700 fps with it.....if safely possible that is.

I've used Varget with the 225 sierras, and have been happy with the results.

I haven't chronoed the load but figure it should be in the 2650 +/- range.

I haven't screwed in the 350 barrel into my Savage yet,but when looking for some Ramshot Tac, one of the fellows at the store used IMR4320 instead of the more usual 748.They did sell Ramshot powder, just didn't have any. They had RL-17 and IMR-7828SSC.Not exactly 350 powders.

Wow. That's an impressive start.

I have not loaded the bullet for which you are seeking information. However, I have used IMR 4320 in my 350 Mag with the 220 gr Speer bullet. The best 100 yard accuracy (at or just slightly over 1" for a 5-shot group) was with 58 grs of IMR 4320. This is I believe 1 gr short of max powder charge, per Speer #13 Manual. The average MV was 2,560 fps. My rifle has a 22" barrel.

I was able to achieve an average MV of 2,650 fps with this bullet, using 59 grs of IMR 4320. However, this was just over the listed Speer Manual max velocity, so I only shot twice with this loading.

I know this information does not directly answer your question but it's the best I can do.

I would offer you good luck but I don't think you'll need it, based on the target you posted.

I really like Woodleigh bullets. I grabbed a number of boxes before prices escalated.
