I've been gosting some sites and read where 409 cleanser and simple green are both good choices for swabbing the bore down. I plan on carrying some patches wet with the 409 citrus oil type cleanser on them, and some dry patches to follow with, for between shots use. Anyone know of any reason this wont work well?
I've already found it cleans better than soap and hot water as it removed more stuff after I finished with the water cleaning. I've heard Bore Butter dosn't remove with water and maybe thats why. I've decided to quite the use of it anyhow and use breakfree for storage and swab it out before use.
