I have been looking for a new bow sight for my bow and have been unable to come up with one. I have been looking for a microadjust sight that doesnt take any tools. I was originally looking at the Hoyt Micro Elite and have seen it, but it is not the one that i have been looking for. The one i was looking for was one that had a lock that was finger-operable (dont know if that is a word, but Ill go with it). The ME has allen locks on it. I think the one that i am looking for is the 3D supreme, but i am not 100% sure that is the name. There is one they made by that name, but I dont know if that is it. Anyway, i just saw a sure-lock that i like, but it is getting close to $200 for the sight, so i was hoping to find what I want for less than that. I want all metal with metal pins, but the pins can change. Do any of you have any sights you think would fit the bill, or any info on the sights that i have mentioned? Any insight or comment would be appreciated.

I am leaning toward the spot hogg hogg-it, but I am not sure. I know the sure-loc has a great rep. and I have used their sight. I just wish I knew more about the hogg-it and the lethal weapon line of sights from SL. Anyone know anything about those sights?
------------------
I've looked at it, but it just didnt seem to be quite what i was looking for. Lets see, I am seeing the sight in my mind, but how are the mircoadjust elevation, windage and 3rd axis?

billygoat,
I don't know too much about the sights, my friend has them. talking to him the other day, he said they were hand adjustable, about the 3rd axis I can't answer that for you. I have to do some research on them myself, Im looking for a new sight myself. For the price and everything, I think they are good. I'll let you know more on them after I study the sight more.
86

I'm of the simple is better school here. I use a string-mounted peep and a single pin adjustable sight with the pin set at 22 yards. This year I will probably adjust it to 15 yards. I use holdover and practice to get effective to 30 yards. By effective I mean that I miss my mark by more than kill zone distance less than 5% of the time. But hey, my limit is 30 yards. This is easy shooting, not tournament archery.
The thing cost about 20$. I know what will happen if Bambi comes by and I've got several sight pins to choose from -- I'll choose the wrong one!
Bear in mind that I have never had a shot opportunity at greater than 20 yards. That's just the way it is here. I pre-range objects near my stand when hunting.
I don't see myself changing this system under current conditions.
Good shooting, Talus

I'm getting a Hoyt VorTec and am kinda waiting on a new sight to hit the market before telling my Hoyt Dealer to order. He is the one that told me about the sight. I have a one pin tritium sight on my Hoyt Viper and it is the best I've ever used, but the dealer told me the new one is even better. He said it's fiber optic with a tritium center. The tritium is great in low or no light but hard to see in good light and that's where the fiber optic comes in.

On that trinium, might want to check on it. I am not sure that its P&Y legal if that is something you are interested in. I believe the rule is no artificial light, so might want to check.

I never thought about tritium being anything except something that glows and actually works. I don't see any difference in it than that florescent paint for pins.
I'm hunting in fl. anyway and not concerned with records, but would like to know out of curiosity if they consider tritium a lighted pin.

The reason is that it is actually a radioactive substance that glows and produces its own light, not something that uses existing light like a fiber optic that gathers the existing light and focuses it.

I checked with Pope & Young about the tritium sights and they said using tritium sights would not disqualify an entry.
