I have an 84 dodge 4x4 that has that crappy potmetal "connector" that links the steering wheel shaft to the box.

I've seen a converion that uses a real u-joint setup.

Does anyone know where to get those?

check in the back of a 4wheeler magazine. i see them advertised all the time. nice setup some built for sure. you might even try there website.
