Hello<P>I have a older marlin modle 60 .22lr .<BR>This gun has been around for a while !<BR>My dad had it ever seence I can remember , and I traded him for one of my other .22's about 3 years ago . Now that I got ahold of it the wood stock is looking kind of beat up , and the trigger seems th be VARY CREEPY , and a bit heavyer that "I" think it should be "it was always like this , but it seems to get worse by the year" . I can live with the trigger pull<BR>but is there any way I can fix the creep ?<BR>Or should I take it to a gun smith ?<BR>My founds are short at the time so I would rather fix it myself , but if a smith is needed I will just wait tell i can get the extra cash .<P><BR>On another note . I would also like to put a ram-line "lock arm" stock on it .I saw one in natchez catalog for $40.00 . Has any one seen these stocks ? How is ram-line for quality ? Treeratkiller,<BR>The design of the M60 with it's stamped parts,and e-clip pins dosn't lend itself to a high end trigger job very well.<BR>Corrections can be made for angle but depth of engagement has to remain high on account of slop in the supporting unit.<BR>A 'smith can however polish things to allow for a smoother pull,but some travel will have to remain for safe operation.<BR>Ramline does OK. for .22's.<BR>They are mass produced and injection moulded,and can't be seen as things of beauty however.Then again I am not aware of anybody making top end stocks for the M60.<BR>Good luck to ya!<BR>E4E<P>------------------<BR>Remove the mechanical variables,and then you can only blame yourself!
