Howdy
I recently traded for a percussion Sharps made by Armsport of Italy in .54 cal. I have never owned one of these rifles and know little about them. I am waiting to shoot until I gather enough info to feel confidant, please share any general info for beginners and what I can expect. I bought both round balls and conical bullets to try. Specifically I need know if Armsport Sharps have the sliding gas check chamber, and what position it should be in before loading, and basic loading tips. Thanks in advance.
