Hi Folks, The friendly neighborhood parcel destroyer (AKA the UPS driver) left my 110 grain .25 caliber Accubonds (Its absolutely wicked looking ) on the doorstep this morning.
Now all I need is some blue ribbon loads for my .25/06 .
Right now I'm thinking of decreasing the 100 grain Nosler BT data 2-4 grains or increasing the 115 grain Nosler data by 1-2 grains.
Has anyone had a chance to work with this new bullet yet?
Also has anyone tried or anyone use magnum primers in the .25/06?
Thanks for the input and Good Shooting, HBB

I'm not a writer, but I have them on the way also. What I will do is reduce the 115 grain bullet data of Nosler's lowest data by 10%, and begin there in half grain increments upwards. Did I mention wear eye protection (LOL).

In a 257 Roberts, 38 gr. of TAC and 42 gr. of BIG GAME should give about 2900. 45 gr. of HUNTER produced 3000 in my NULA with a 24 inch barrel. All gave good accuracy. These are similar to 100 gr. loads in the 257.
The 110 worked great on a whitetail doe at a range of 40 yards. Centered a rib going in diagonally through the chest with a silver dollar size exit hole on the other side. About 16 inches of penetration. The deer dropped at impact and then flopped around a bit.
Blood everywhere!

WT, Thanks for the info. Lots of blood and flopping deer is what I like to hear about from a new bullet.

AD, Thanks for the input. I always have to wear glasses (really thick ones) just to see the target
