Couldn't find a decent shop manual for my Sportsman 500 DUSE ATV, and they didn't have one in the catalog, or advertised. So I e-mailed Polaris and asked them specifically. They replied with a part number specifically for the 2001 Polaris Sportsman 400/500 DUSE & H.O. P/N # 9916581, cost was $29.99. This is not one of those cheap type books you usually find on the dealer's racks, but more like the old "Clinton's" blue book shop manuals. Gives all the information to include rebuilding the engine and trans. Guess if you can't find what your looking for it pays to ask.<P>Phil
