Things have been pretty slow on this forum, Probably by now, most are either getting ready, or are out hunting. Anybody have any exciting wrecks yet? I was muzzle loading in early September and had a buffalo and bear encounter on my mule. Met an old DOW guy who has packed for quite a few years. We got to talking about which is better horse or mule? In the end he summed it up pretty good. "DO yuo want to be killed by accident or on purpose?"<P>My hunting partners two Arabian mules really convinced me this year that you do not want to make Arabin mules.One big bucking session with packs, one with a rider in the dark. Luckily, I wasn't the rider.<P>On the other side,while hunting sheep last week, we rode country that most people would close thier eyes in..These two mules really earned thier keep for the entire year.
