I have an old cabin tent in which I contemplated putting a stove boot. However, because of its lack of fire resistant canvas, I was spooked off the project. I spoke with Montana Canvas about an aftermarket fire resistant treatment for canvas and they told me that there was no effective way to treat my tent. I know that fire resistant treated canvas only buys you a little more time to get out of the tent when she catches on fire, but as slow as I am in my old age I need all the time I can get. Incidentally, in old �rag camps� (logging tent camps), tent fires, especially in cold dry falls, were a serious issue for the crews. CP.

Just picked up a like new 10x10 Kodiak off KSL.com for $250.00! Wife is going to girl's camp in July, and I needed something smaller to compliment the 14x16 Davis. Just put it up in the backyard and the kids are going to sleep in it tonight. Easy to set up, and with the loops for guy lines, should be pretty wind/weather resistant.
