oh wait, I did look at them I was looking for .308 180 BT's and I didn't see anything in the 6.5 family. so we didn't miss out. well we kinda did, because if they had them it would be a steal, but no they weren't available when we ordered.

we did however get the last of the 140 partitions laugh

Thanks Seafire - I think we got the last of the 140 gr bullets. The 125 NPTs are going to harvest some deer this fall out of my 17" TC Encore barrel - carbine version in West River South Dakota - pistol version here in Minnesota. Why they let us do this with pistols and not just hunt with rifles I'll never know...although it is only one shot at a time. smile

I size it down to 243 and up to 358, no issues with the brass.

W:

I remember how stupid Minnesota DNR could be on hunting regs...

that is why I use to hunt south of International Falls.... and north of Hibbing.... we were so far back in the boonies, they hadn't legislated the crap out of that area, as there were hardly any people there...

I sure loved most of the people I knew in Minnesota, especially once you get out of the Cities... but I had no use for the Government in Minnesota... same way I love Oregon but have no use for the government here...

both states are ran by democrats whose mottoes are tax tax tax and legislate legislate legislate...

I have got to get around putting a barrel on a Model 70 action in 260... however I have 2 Ruger 77s chambered in the cartridge also...

I'll probably do the 100 grainers at 3350 fps MV again... that works pretty darn good...

of course I'll probably grab the Featherweight in 7 x 57.. I love carrying that gun...

what I need is about 40 deer tags each fall to justify all the toys I have to hunt them with...or I should say my son owns and lets me borrow...
