This is the back-country spike camp my brother and I used during an elk hunt in Colorado back in the early 1970s. The tent is a boy scout pup tent wth a tarp suspended over it. We were snowed in for a few days, [Linked Image] but when the snow stopped we went elk hunting. He had a cow license and I had a bull license. We didn't get any trophies, but filled both licenses and then got back out to our main camp. [Linked Image] Would some of you like to venture that camping gear has changed since those days?
