I have 13LBS of wet brewing tonight will hit the dehydrator in the AM. Will be going every day until January. Have 2 hams and 2.8LBS sliced waiting for dehydrator space. Will go on Thursday with that.
I thank the Lord daily for my wife and our good marriage. I loose twenty pounds of dear, bear, or sausage every time the kids come home though. And that makes me soooo happy.

Bart I'll get some ready this weekend. PM me your snail mail. The 13lbs wet made 5lbs 6oz of finished. It was picked up this AM. When I have to hold some, which isn't often, I'll vacuum pack and freeze it. I use the hams and (OH the HORROR of it all)the loins to make jerky. I tell the guys that drop off the meat that I don't mess with anything else to much waste in the front quarter. Even the ham is about 10% waste. Pete
Just 2 weeks into the bow season here and I've already made 22lbs 13oz of finished jerky and that's not counting all that gest snagged by "them what thinks they are entitled". Long time to go until 01 Jan.
