anyone know if there is any dimensional difference in the forearms of standard 1895 and the 1895 Cowboy other than the inletting? Cant find a Cowboy forearm so wondering if i can make one out of a regular 1895 forearm?

I don't know about the 1895, but the cowboy forearms on the 1894s are different. The cowboy wood was a couple of inches shorter. I had a carbine converted to a cowboy and a new dovetail had to be made to accommodate the longer carbine wood.
