The story I heard is that he already spent 2 Million on his old lawyers before they quit and expects to pay another million to resolve this. Sure is a lot to spend to prove your innocence. He sure has done well for himself, as the representative from Harlem for the past 40 years (20 terms, no [bleep]).

Right now it appears Washington is eating its own. I think from earlier this months elections the Democrats now KNOW it ain't business as usual and they also know, America just may be on to them. Rangel will most likely get much more than a wrist slap. I think the Dems know they have a lot to prove to us if they are to remain in power and hopefully they won't get even more losses in 2010.
