Can you guys ID my friends rifle. It's a .300 non interupted thread takedown with brass rotary mag, with cartridge counter. SN# 3260XX. It's at least NRA Good condition.

Thanks

sounds like a G model.

Elmo...

According to the records I have, the rifle was made in 1930.

Thanks guys

The man who owns this rifle also has a Savage model 29 octagon barreled pump in .22 that's very nice also. Who knows about the model 29?

What would you like to know? Stock plain or checkered? What is the serial?

Yer dreamin Jed
This ol' guy is pretty smart and his leaving these to #1 son.

What he paid for this pair would make avid collectors cry in their beer. I'll give you a hint..... It was less than 40% of what you are offering.

We should all be so lucky <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Model 29 questions;

Date of manufacture range?

Reputation of quality?

Scarcity?

Good collector item?

Value in NRA Excellent condition?

Thanks

I can't answer your questions without more detail. Not all 29's were created equally. 29's were produced from 1929 into the 60's and in several variations.
