Pottin' groundhogs at 250 yards ain't no big trick with old Long Tom here if you can find a steady spot to rest him on.

lol,...I was a hardcore FAL enthusiast there for a few years back when.

I kinda like lever rifles and single shots these days,...but this thread has reminded me of when I was all involved in the high output models.

There's not a hell of a lot on this planet that can cause ya grief when you've got 20 rounds of warm .308 clipped into a FAL.

I like to hunt the 325WSM Montana... Light weight shoots great...The 160's TTSX for antelope and deer. The 220's A-Frame for bear. It's all a man needs here in North America....

Built one for baby brother here while back.

He got a big kick out of it,...was takin' pics here and there and put together a web page about it.

My grey moustache and big ass nose is featured in a few of the pics.

I told him that my price for building one was a pint of vodka,...and he brought me a fifth,...of that damn Absolut chit.

,...but I built it anyway. He didn't know no better.

None of which will allow me to retire in luxury,.....

But in any event,...I'm gonna drag my Polack wife back to Boston' on'e o'these days,...and both she and I would go nuts over a fishin' trek like you put on.

I'll tell ya in advance,..... she's gonne puke,...but she won't snivel about it. In fact,.....if you take her out to catch the big 'uns, I'll be hard pressed to keep her from givin' ya summa that old booger.

,...she's crazy that way.
